Actions and missions

Plan and control the incorporation and renewal of IT resources within the scope of the Ministry of Security, managing actions, guidelines and criteria with the provincial governing body on the matter and accordingly with current regulations.

Propose, design, regulate, coordinate and control the policies of computer resources and technologies that are applied in the different dependencies, areas and/or sectors of the Ministry of Security and in accordance with the guidelines established in the matter by the authorities, organisms and dependencies competent and involved.

Develop and propose methods and procedures to follow in terms of use, maintenance of computer resources, security and privacy of the information processed and/or generated by the different areas of the Ministry.

Recognize, coordinate and establish schemes in all aspects related to the implementation and management of quality systems within the scope of the Ministry of Security. - Define the guidelines, mission, vision of the Provincial Directorate of the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Center.

Integrate the systems of the Emergency Telephone Service Center to the entire information circuit of the Ministry.

Regulate the standardization of the information used in all the Ministry's systems and databases.

Define the technological standards to be used in the different areas of the Ministry.
