Actions and missions

Coordinate and rule on the legal, technical and administrative aspects within the framework of the assigned competence, in the draft laws that are promoted from the jurisdiction and in the projects of administrative acts, of general and particular scope and, in general, of any act that is submitted to the consideration of the Minister of Security, without prejudice to the intervention, within the scope of its competence, of the advisory and comptroller bodies of the Province of Buenos Aires.

Carry out the follow-up and systematization of the contentious matters, formulating the presentations and/or petitions that are necessary, developing the coordination and execution procedures that are pertinent for the purposes of compliance within the framework of the public policies implemented, in coordination with the competent bodies.

Centralize and coordinate information related to the operation of the regimes of police personnel acting in the Ministry. Participate and coordinate the implementation of studies, programs and special projects entrusted to it by the Minister of Security, together with the areas and dependencies involved.

Organize and coordinate the liquidation of salaries, wages, bonuses, withholdings, supplements and other compensation to the personnel of all the agents, teaching personnel and police personnel, as well as the loading of the novelties in the comprehensive salary system.

Promote actions for the prevention and protection of the life and health of all the people who work in the dependency, and the implementation and control of the self-insurance system in the Ministry of Security (Decree No. 923/14)
